Last November at a Melbourne Cup lunch at the Walkabout Hotel in North East Arnhem Land, NT I bought a $3 mystery box trifecta ticket. Long story short – I won the trifecta and $5,500. Around about the same time, I received an email from Inspired Adventures asking if I wanted to run the New York Marathon for the Leukaemia Foundation. So I decided with my winnings to fund my trip to New York and raise the required $10,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation.
