Inspired by the book With Every Step earlier this year I completed 55 marathons in 55 days in memory of Andrew Cadigan. I decided all donations provided in support would go to Cad's Cause, which were allocated to the Leukaemia Foundation's PHD research program into MDS - named after Andrew Cadigan and Chris Simpson who died from the pre-Leukaemia condition.
In 2014 the Leukaemia Foundation initiated a PHD research program into MDS, and named it after Andrew Cadigan in honour of Chris Simpson. The program will cost $180,000 over three years and Cad's Cause has pledged to raise all the amount as a further legacy to Andrew. Around $160,000 has now been raised.
Just recently I attended his memorial walk in Sydney and inspired by Cads legacy I'm back at it again to help push us closer to the required amount.
I'll be running (and a little walking no doubt) 24 hours on a treadmill covering as much distance as possible from Saturday December 10th at 12 o'clock to Sunday December 11th at 12 o'clock.
For every donation of $20 or more you can guess the exact amount of kilometres and metres I'll run to go into the draw to win some fantastic prizes!
Make sure to leave your name, an email address and a contact number where you can so you can go into the draw.

Today, 34 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. That's another 34 reasons to support the Leukaemia Foundation's work – providing practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this in right now - please sponsor me and help me reach my goal.
Thanks so much!
