Join us to support blood cancer research in WA.
On the weekend of March 11-12 I'll be swimming the Wall-to-Wall from Port Beach to Hilary's, after using the Rotto swim as a warm-up!
When patients are diagnosed with blood cancer they often feel they have "hit a wall". We want to fund research that helps them overcome the barriers.
I'll be racing Huey from Perth Blood Institute, who'll kayak from Hilary's to Port and then back.
Both us of are raising money to support scientists researching better threatments for blood cancers.
I'll be raising money to establish a research fund for scientists in memory of Jeff Jago (pictured).
Jeff was a scientist and educator who inspired generations of young researchers until his passing from leukaemia last year. Jeff previously staged fundraising events for the Leukaemia foundation in WA.
We would like this event to kick off a research fund in his memory, starting with this crazy swim!
