my name is darth, and im aiming to raise as many dollars as i can for the leukaemia foundation.

while ive had my own battles with my blood over the years, i fundraise to keep alive the memory of someone very dear to me who lost their brave fight with blood cancer in 2002. ever since, ive been a passionate supporter of this organisation as i have seen first hand the amazing work they do for patient, family and friends of those battling blood cancer.

as a long time findraiser, the leukaemia foundation have invited me to join them on a trek to base camp mt everest as part of a fundraising expedition. im that determined to make a difference for people with blood cancer, i will walk to the roof of the world!

did you know that every day, 34 aussies will be diagnosed with a form blood cancer. it could be someone in your family, one of your friends, work mates, the person next to you on the train. it could even be you. across australia, 60,000 people are going through this right now. just think about for a moment. yeah, its absolutely terrifying; this is why we have to do something. im walking to the roof of the world to make a difference, what will you do?
