After watching our Mum battle the most difficult challenge of her life, my family and I know too well how hard it can be for anyone diagnosed with Leukaemia including family and friends. To continue the fight and to honour Mum and others who have passed, I am trekking to base camp of Mt Everest to raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Throughout Mum's journey I saw how funds and the community come together to assist families and those affected by Blood Cancer. Together with your generosity and support we can help those in need facing this terrible disease and attempt at finding a cure!
Today, 34 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. That's another 34 reasons to support the Leukaemia Foundation's work – providing practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this right now - please sponsor me and help me reach my goal!
