Hi Everyone š
This running venture has been 2 years in the making. I've trained up from a particularly low fitness level and very overweight starting point. I am now 26kg lighter and have acquired a plodding style of 'running'. I am ready to follow through on a commitment I made to my dearest life-long friend Jackie Mooney after her eldest son, Keiran, was taken way too early in life from a nearly 3 year battle with leukaemia. So here I am getting ready to run a half marathon, something I never thought would be possible in a month of Sundays.
I have some amazing people around me that have supported my training venture and quite frankly without them I don't think I would have come this far both mentally & physically. Some are even coming to join me on either the 10km or the 21km which I think is so awesome š.
Please if you can donate what you can and share this link far and wide. I'd love so much to reach the target amount of $2,000 ššš

I've left the below info to highlight the impact of this terrible cancer:
Today, 34 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. That's another 34 reasons to support the Leukaemia Foundation's work – providing practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this in right now - please sponsor me and help me reach my goal.
