2 years ago my Mum died from a rare form of blood cancer. Andrea Brumley was many things to many people. A joyful and active sister and daughter; a loving partner and best friend; a mother and mentor; a passionate research scientist; a teacher; a leader; a volunteer; a friend.
To honour Mum's memory, and support the Australian Leukaemia Foundation, I will be running the famous Boston Marathon on April 16 this year. The Leukaemia Foundation provides practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. Moreover, they provide tremendous support for families of cancer patients, particularly those from regional Australia.
Please sponsor me and help reach my goal of $5000. As an added incentive, I will completely shave my head if this target is met. Thank you for your generous support.

Update (26/01): We've surpassed the initial target in just one week! Thank you for your contributions so far - the hair will definitely be coming off for the race. Please continue to sponsor me, and help to raise much needed funds for the Australian Leukaemia Foundation.
