Help me raise vital funds to support the work of the Leukaemia Foundation. On 16 January 2013 I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Myeloid Leukaemia (APML). Five months in hospital and two years of medical treatment followed. It was a long journey with emotional and physical challenges which are difficult to describe. The toll this disease exacts from patients and their families and loved ones is immense. I have committed to join this intrepid group of trekkers to raise money to help the Leukaemia Foundation support patients battling blood cancer and their families. Thanks for your contribution to this very worthy cause which is close to my heart.
