I’m getting my blood pumping for blood cancer

A very good friend of mine has Myeloma and has been under treatment for a number of years.  He is relatively young compared to the average age of others diagnosed however he portrays an extremely positive attitude and continues with determination and strength to deal with the treatments and medications sustaining his life.

My amazing friend has set himself a challenging goal to walk on the Great Wall of China and in doing so raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

My goal is to help him achieve his goal and also support the Leukaemia Foundation’s work. The Leukaemia Foundation provides practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures.  Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this right now.  Closer to home, my wife’s father died of Multiple Myeloma so we fully understand the impact of blood cancer on a family.
