I'm joining the Leukaemia Foundation's week-long cycling challenge through the steep bits of the hills around Adelaide in April 2018.
Ride As One is 840kms and 12,700 metres of climbing elevation over 6 gruelling stages.
What does this ride look like:
- Adelaide to Melbourne - 726km, this ride is 840km
- Equivalent distance of Adelaide to Murray Bridge return every day for 6 days
- 12,700m of climbing is the cruising altitude of an A380
- Climbing Mt Lofty summit from Waterfull Gully - 26.7 times!
Please sponsor me.
Today, 35 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help. I'm riding in memory of Margery and John Erwin and my son's godmother, Sally Giles.
