My Message
On the evening of Saturday 10 October, I am taking part in Light the Night because blood cancer has touched my life.
In May this year, a large lump on my neck appeared, overnight. By June I had a diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma and commenced chemotherapy treatment.
Life, as we knew it, changed swiftly for me, Jared, Riley and Caley, and for at least the next 6-12 months.
On Friday, I headed to the cancer clinic for my 9th treatment. Often it is with anxiety and stress. But God is at work. He is good - He knows, He cares, He rules and this brings hope and comfort.
God has the power to heal, through miracle and medicine.
Organisations like the Leukaemia Foundation raise funds to further the work of brilliant research scientists. This research continues to discover faster diagnostics and better treatments for people with blood cancer.
Funds raised through this special event provide families facing blood cancer with support to help make it through scary, uncertain moments that follow a diagnosis.
Please help support this fantastic organisation and sponsor me to Light the Night.
