I'm taking part in the World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation!
It was a real shock when my mum was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, but she was pretty lucky in her blood cancer journey. She has now finished up her treatment and is healthy and strong, but I know that sadly isn’t the case for a lot of other people, so I didn't think twice about throwing my hand up to help support others and their loved ones in similar positions by shaving my mullet.
Please sponsor me to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. You'll also fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers, while improving their quality of life.
Every day another 41 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. That's one Aussie every 36 minutes. Although research is improving survival, sadly an Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours.
It’s time to ditch my mullet for a worthy cause, so please give what you can and get behind my campaign to lose my locks in the name of conquering blood cancer!
