I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I am Daisy and I'm 9 years old now. I know a few people with cancer or who have had cancer so I wanted to help them and others to make it easier when they have to go through treatment. I have REALLY long hair at the moment (I have been growing it since I was born!) so I thought taking part in the World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation and shaving my hair off and donating it would be a great way to raise some money for people who are struggling with cancer.
So me and my mum asked my Principal at my school if they could help me do the Shave and they are now organsiing a special assembly for me on Thursday 3rd December and a hairdresser is coming to do it! Thank you Shorncliffe School!
Sponsorship and what it means:
Please sponsor me to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. You'll also fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers, while improving their quality of life.
Every day another 47 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. That's one person every 31 minutes. Although research is improving survival, sadly an Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours.
Will you please help by sponsoring me? Together we can make a difference.

Thank you soooooo much!!!
