My Message
I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 1A Hodgkin Lymphoma after 18 months of investigation. At only 17 years old, I was preparing to face the challenges of the HSC during Covid-19 and was not expecting to be faced with a cancer diagnosis. In researching information on Lymphoma the "Light the Night" Fundraiser popped up and as I am about to start chemotherapy I decided to jump right in to help raise awareness and much needed funds to support people like me facing a blood cancer diagnosis.
On the evening of Saturday 16 October, I am taking part in Light the Night because blood cancer has touched my life.
Funds raised through this special event provide families facing blood cancer with the care needed to make it through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis.
Donations also transform fear into hope in miraculous, life-changing ways by furthering the work of brilliant research scientists.
This research is saving lives right now as it continues to discover faster diagnoses and even better treatments for people with blood cancer.
Please help me reach my goal and click "Donate to us" and sponsor me to Light the Night.
