My Message
On the evening of Saturday 16 October, I am taking part in Light the Night because blood cancer has touched my life. My dear Mum, Victoria, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2013 and has for eight years been battling through chemotherapy, stem cell transplants and the wide ranging impacts this disease has on her body (broken bones, hip replacement after a fall left her with a broken pelvis) and her quality of life.
Funds raised through this special event provide families facing blood cancer with the care needed to make it through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis.
Donations also transform fear into hope in miraculous, life-changing ways by furthering the work of brilliant research scientists.
This research is saving lives right now as it continues to discover faster diagnoses and even better treatments for people with blood cancer.
Please help me reach my goal and sponsor me to Light the Night.
