I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I've taken part in World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation this year! I'm on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer. I lost my beautiful Grandmother to this terrible cancer and also a long-time family friend. I have also seen how research in medical sciences have made life-saving advances that have both saved and transformed the life of a friend (and his family). The ongoing challenges that come with this frightening diagnosis are emotionally, physically and financially exhausting, so this is my way of contributing towards funding the ongoing research and special care that is needed for families fighting and living with this terrible cancer! And yes, the hair has gone as you can see! Please sponsor me to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. Inspired by this beautiful, wise and always loving lady, my Grandmother who lost her life to this terrible cancer. I was there holding her hand as she was losing her brave battle.
