I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Hello everyone!
My name is Jodhi, I’m currently 12 years old and I’m shaving my hair for the Leukaemia Foundation.
A few years ago, one of my classmates passed away because of Leukaemia. I was only 6 but I understood the pain associated with death. I also didn’t understand why she had to leave us at a young age. It turns out that Leukaemia is the most common cancer found in children and teens. 15 people a day die from this deadly disease. No one shoud have to deal with the suffering that Leukaemia causes. This is why I want to support this cause to raise money and find cure for leukaemia.
Last year, I dyed my hair green for 7 days and this year I’m going to be braver and bolder and shave my hair off! By the time I shave my hair, my hair will be closer to 50cm! It’s all coming off!
I’m taking a bigger and braver step. I hope you can be as brave as me and donate as much as you can. Together, we can make an impact, just like my hair.
Thank you for your generous support!
