I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Hi all, As some of you may be aware over the last 18 months cancer has treaded close to my family with my dad being diagnosed with multiple myeloma last year and undergoing chemotherapy. Thanks to the great work of the cancer teams on the sunshine coast and Brisbane he has come out the other side and is focusing on enjoying life again. In recognition of the fight the old man has shown to get through this, and the unwavering support from mum who was with him every step of the way I am going to finally cut off the man bun / luscious locks I have been growing for the last 2 years. Shave for a cure raises much needed funds for research on how we beat the cancer scourge, and how we improve treatments for people like my old man.
