I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I'm 15 years old and in Year 10 at Henbury School.
I am taking part in World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation! I'm on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer.
Last year my mum, Helen, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and it was the toughest year ever. But thanks to her medical team and the Leukaemia Foundation she received the treatment and care she needed. She had to leave us to spend 5 months in the Leukaemia Foundation Village in Adelaide while she received life saving stem cell treatment. She is now in remission.
I am so happy mum is back home with us.
This year my Aunt Susan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma - another form of leukaemia. Blood cancer touches so many families and this is why we need to find a cure to stop blood cancer!
