I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
This event will be held at LPs Restarant/Bar & Cafe 99-101 Corio Street, Geelong, approx. 6pm. Everyone is welcome to come along, watch us get shaved (and Andrew's goatie!). Donations can be made on the day. We are taking part in World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation! Were on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer. Please sponsor us to give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. You'll also fund vital research to help more people survive blood cancers, while improving their quality of life. We would also like to support other cancer types that our loved friend Joanne has been diagnosed with another type of cancer. Another wonderful friend John has recently lost his long battle with a rare type of blood cancer. John will be very much missed within our community. To All our friends and family that have survived but still battle the horrible disease, we support you all and doing a small part in a big battle. We ask that anyone that can help us support our contribution of shaving together can help support those suffering. I am willing to shave my halo of blonde locks, Andrew is willing to shave off his messy locks and shave off his goatie (for a price!) in support. Will you help by sponsoring us? Cheering you guys on for your wonderful support and can't wait to see the 'after' photos! My dad was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) a few years ago and thanks to the research and work of the Foundation he qualified for a trial treatment, which saved his life. Their work is amazing, as is their support of families and patients. Happy to contribute!
