Two weeks ago my daughter Natasha was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She is almost finished her first round of chemotherapy and she is shaving her head this week.
In support, I’m shaving my Moustache, both for her and all the families with loved ones who are fighting this disease.
Now you might think why a moustache and not my head. Aside from the fact I have very little hair left, Natasha suggested I shave my my mo instead, because she has never seen me without my moustache. I grew it when I was 17 and never looked back.
So on April 5 (my 66th birthday and my Mo’s 49th) I’m shaving my mo.
