I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Hey Everyone,
As some of you may know, in 2019 my father Michael was diagnosed with Primary CNS Lymphoma (a form of blood cancer). Shortly afterward I began to grow my hair with the express purpose of raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation by shaving it off, as well as donating it for wig-making. I am happy to report that these luscious ginger locks are now well and truly long enough to make someone a beautiful wig.
The Leukaemia Foundation provides invaluable research, as well as a wide range of supports, advocacy and information for those affected by blood cancer. By donating to this page you are helping the foundation to continue their work, and hopefully to reach their goal of zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035.
Thanks to the existing research and medical care, as well as the incredible support we received from family, friends and the community at large, we were given 2 more years with my dad. To those who helped make it possible, it is a gift for which I will forever remain deeply and profoundly grateful.
Lets make this MISSION: POSSIBLE,
Rhys
