I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I'll be shaving my head on May 20th 2022 to help raise money for Cancer research. I have worked in the medical research industry for 10 years, the past 5 years have been in Cancer Research. Helping those affected by Cancer is incredibly important to me, so I decided it was time to put my hair where my mouth is! I have chosen May 20th as my shave day to coincide with my 31st Birthday. I will be having a birthday party - with clipper privileges going to the highest bidder! I will be donating my waist length hair to Sustainable Salons to make wigs for those who have medically-induced hair loss. I would love to reach ten thousand dollars in donations, and if I do, I will even get a commemorative 10k tattoo on my freshly shaved head!
