My Message
On Friday, 30 September, I will be taking part in the Leukaemia Foundations Light the Night and raising a gold lantern in support. The gold lantern symbolises a loved one lost to bloood cancer 💛
This is the 10th year I have been involved with this night to raise funds to support those diagnosed with a blood cancer and to fund research into stopping this terrible cancer.
Those who know me well, know I do so as I am passionate to make a positive difference to others due to my mums very quick diagnosis and passing of this horrible blood cancer. I seriously don’t want other families to have to go through what we did. I do this to help others but to also honour my mum and her memory 💛
I know things are tough all round for everyone right now but I urge you to donate in memory of my mum if you knew her or if not, to support me to help others.
This year I have set a huge goal as I have reluctantly decided it will be my final year of Lighting the Night. I am hanging up my lantern after 10 years and with hopefully this goal achieved, will have raised with the help of my supporters, $15,000 collectively over 10 years for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and I hope you will jump on board to make my last year successful and more importantly, make a difference to those who need it the most 💛
Please help me reach my goal by donating to my Light the Night.
