As the sun sets on Friday, 30 September, I will be taking part in Light the Night so no one in the blood cancer community ever has to feel alone. When blood cancer touches a life, it can feel like the beginning of a long, dark night. Treatment is often complex and urgent. Life-saving care can be far from home. Too many are left feeling overwhelmed and unsure – and isolated. Funds raised through this special event will ensure someone will be there for families through every scary, uncertain moment following a blood cancer diagnosis.
