I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
As some of you may know in June this year my Dad, (Keenans father in law) the absolute legend he is , was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that develops from plasma cells in the bone marrow. Treatment for myeloma is constantly improving and it can help control the disease, manage the symptoms and improve quality of life, but currently cannot cure it. Dad will be undergoing a stem cell transplant at the end of November, to which by this stage and the higher doses of chemo he will Be receiving then he will unfortunately loose his hair. He has always supported and stood by us as well as being the backbone of the family so now it is our turn to show him hes supported and loved and were all cheering him on. So when dads hair goes so does ours , (approximately all 60cms of Amies locks will be donated to make wigs) Please jump on board support and sponsor me, the leukaemia foundation are helping dad immensely through this hard time so heres to helping them!
