I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
For 9 months of 2022 I had been battling with Leukemia APML Its now my time to give back and help others in the fight. I've set a lofty fundraising target to help fund reserch and others who arent so fortunate with the variety of blood cancer that they have. I've roped in my football club, Loftus Yarrawarrah Rovers FC to take part in Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave. So I'm giving options of joining me for a shave and help fundraise or donate directly on my fundraising page You have the power to help me make an extraordinary difference. As a family we all went on Brett's leukaemia journey. He made the coping easier by his amazing attitude throughout some fairly traumatic moments. The well trained doctors and nurses in the Haematology ward of St George Hospital gave us confidence. Our thanks to our wonderful daughter-in -law Rachel who kept the household together and fitted in support constantly for Brett, Phoebe stepped up to the plate taking on much responsibility in such a mature manner.
