I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!

We have all been touched by cancer in one form or another.

Personally I've lost too many of my loved ones to cancer and I live in awe of those who continue to fight and have survived.

Whilst The Worlds Greatest Shave is focused on blood cancer bringing awareness about all cancer and an opportunity to make a difference through education, support and financial contribution I personally feel strongly that we must all do our part.

I, or should I say, WE, will be raising crucial funds that help give those facing blood cancer all the support and information they need, while driving breakthrough research projects discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer.

I have a BHAG to raise $10,000 - together we can do this!

This is a great cause Lisa. I have also been personally touched by cancer, lost both of my grandmothers due to cancer, and most recently an aunty as well. The last thing you can lost however is hope, and I strongly believe that my donation (although small), can make a difference towards improving cancer research and quality of life for those who are currently fighting cancer.

I'm giving to show my sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in the cancer ward and BMT ward at the Brisbane PA and RBWH who saved my life when I was diagnosed with cancer. Through Chemo and stem cell transplant I am now fully recovered and owe my life to you all within the system. I can't thank you enough and indebted to you forever! Life is short, unexpected, cherish it every waking day.
