I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
It has been 18 months since my last haircut, and it's time to donate my hair to make a wig for someone who hasn't had a choice in losing theirs. On the 16th of July, in honour of three of the bravest women I know, I'm going to go one step further than a haircut, and also shave my head for this worthy cause!
I would love your support in raising funds that can make a difference in someone's life. In addition to donating, other ways you could help me are:
- Tell me what you think! I'd love to hear your thoughts and welcome speaking about this cause which is close to my heart.
- Share this message and link with your friends and family
- Consider asking your employer to match your donation (some bigger companies match or double employee donations)
- Consider registering to be a blood donor or a bone marrow donor
Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, and 16 will lose their life.
I'll be raising crucial funds that help give those facing serious blood disorders all the support and information they need, while driving breakthrough research projects discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer.
Thank you so much!
