I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!

With no screening programs available and no means of prevention through lifestyle changes, blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis.

Cancer affects people from all walks of life, it is a horrible disease that impacts individuals, families, and communities. It affects mothers, fathers, grandparents, uncles, aunties, sisters, brothers, and friends. It harms not only those diagnosed but those around them too.

Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, and 16 will lose their life.

We can't delay taking action together.

That's why I've decided to take part in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave by cutting my hair.

I will be cutting my hair to show my support to those impacted by any type or form of cancer, as hair loss is a common side affect of cancer treatment.

I'll also be raising crucial funds that help give those facing blood cancer all the support and information they need, while driving breakthrough research projects discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer.
