My sister Carly was suddenly my diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in July this year. She is just at the start of her journey, so I wanted to support her and the Leukaemia Foundation as soon as I could, to help find a cure for this disease. This is why I'm choosing to do the Worlds Greatest Shave in October so that Carly has a bald buddy to stand with her through her treatment!
Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, so I'll be raising crucial funds that help give those facing blood cancer all the support and information they need, while driving breakthrough research projects discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer.
Big or small, every donation counts.
And if you can't make a monetary donation, please donate blood. It could well be one of your loved ones needing it!
