I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
My name is Hayden Lee, I am 11 years old and in Grade 6 at school. At the end of Term 4, on the Friday 1st December, I will be shaving my head to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
When I was three, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia, which is a blood cell cancer. I received treatment for three and a half years, in Mackay and Brisbane. I was lucky enough to survive Leukaemia and now I would like to help other people survive too.
Research is a very important part of helping people with blood cancer and this is why I am shaving my head to help raise funds for research.
I am hoping to raise $10,000 from my Worlds Greatest Shave event.
Will you help by sponsoring me?
