MARK FINALLY GETS A HAIRCUT
Since realising in early 2020 that if you don't leave the house, you don't ever need to look your best, I've definitely taken this whole "I'll get it cut next week" thing a bit far.
As the greys begin to set in, and my split ends reach down past my shoulders, I've made the call to finally get a haircut.
But why do things in half-measures? Rather than just getting a trim, the plan is to get it all removed and donate it to someone who needs it (not quite sure how it got to donation length).
I'll be doing my shave on 15 October 2023 with the fine people at Mane St Hair in Willoughby, but I've not yet decided how much hair to leave on my head - so I'm going to be leaving that to my wonderful sponsors.
For every $200 I raise, I'll allow the razor to get an extra eighth inch closer to my scalp:
Up to $200: Number 8 (an inch)
$200 - $400: Number 7 (seven eighths)
$400 - $600: Number 6 (three quarters)
$600 - $800: Number 5 (five eights)
$800 - $1,000: Number 4 (half an inch)
$1,000 - $1,200: Number 3 (three eighths)
$1,200 - $1,400: Number 2 (one quarter)
$1,400 - $1,600: Number 1 (one eighth)
Should I manage to hit $2,000, I'll even shave it to the scalp to the point where I resemble my unborn son's 3D ultrasounds.
I would love any support you could throw my way - all the money of course goes to the wonderful Leukaemia Foundation and all the wonderful work they do!
