I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Danes ditching his dreads for the world greatest shave Get ready to fall off your chairs in disbelief, the day is finally arriving. After 17 glorious years I am chucking my dreads in the ring to join the fight against Leukaemia! I have always said that when the time was right, I would ditch the dreads for a great cause, however I never expected it to be hitting so close to home. Only a few weeks ago our family received devastating news. My nine year old nephew Casey, who was born with a rare genetic condition now has Leukaemia. He is a true fighter and his strength and bravery is something to aspire to. This has been an incredible shock to the family but knowing the journey Casey now has ahead of him, I knew what I could do to help. By shaving my head, raising money for research,supporting other family's & spreading the awareness I am officially putting Leukaemia on notice! IIIIIITTTTTT'SSSSS TIME!!
