I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
I am reaching out to share some exciting news and to ask for your support in an incredible initiative that holds a special place in my heart.
As a Leukaemia Foundation Ambassador and someone living with blood cancer, I've decided to participate in the World's Greatest Shave.
The event organised by the Leukaemia Foundation aims to raise funds and awareness for those battling blood cancer. This cause has touched me deeply, and I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of everyone affected.
Every day, 53 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. It's a staggering statistic, and it's something I can't ignore. I believe that together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those facing this challenging journey.
On 1 March, I will be colouring and shaving my head. Your donation, no matter the amount, will contribute to vital research, patient support services, and advocacy efforts. Together, we can make a real impact and bring us closer to a world without blood cancer.
I am grateful for any contribution you can make. Thank you for considering my request and thank you for being a part of my journey and for supporting the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave.
With gratitude,
Barry Du Bois
