I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Hello friends,
In November 2023, I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
In January I started chemotherapy and the reality of losing my hair because of treatment became a reality. I have now completed my chemotherapy treatment andI still have my hair thanks to an amazing innovation called "Cold Cap". While I am pleased to have kept my hair (most of it), it is now my choice to shave it, to support others going through treatment similar to my own.
Anything we can do to support those who need it most is worthwhile!
The support I have received from my medical team, my family and amazing friends, my Chancellor family - parents, students and colleagues - means that shaving my head and helping to take us all one step closer to finding a cure for others is an obvious progression.
Get in and support however you can. Every cent makes a difference!
Thank you, Jodie x
