I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. There are 140,000 families facing blood cancer right now. And it takes the lives of 16 Australians every day.
These numbers are set to double by 2035. Unless we do something about it. That's why I've signed up for the World's Greatest Shave.
I'm raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation to give Australians facing blood cancer life-changing practical and emotional support. And to fund critical research, bringing us closer to the day when zero lives are lost to blood cancer.
I've joined our school team - Shave and Unite with Servite. How lucky am I to have a healthy family, to have grown up happy and not knowing the fear or heartache that cancer causes. How lucky am I to now have two happy, healthy and cheeky kids and to have the privilege of shaving my hair off by choice and not be worried about when or if it'll grow back. I live boldly, and passionately, and aim to be a role model for my kids, to be kind and compassionate and always look to make a difference on the lives of the people around me, even small, wherever I can. 🤍
Couldn't do it without my incredible husband, who is also getting behind this worthy cause participating as part of the Wesley College team, and who has inspired me to get on board as well. And thank you to my beautiful big sister Lina for being supportive and agreeing to do the shave for me 🥰
Will you be part of my World's Greatest Shave community and donate to my page?
Your donation means that together, we're working to stop blood cancer in its tracks.
Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
Appreciate your love and support 🫶
