I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Hi, My name is Toby Rudolf and I’m an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays in the forwards for Cronulla Sharks in the NRL competition.
I always try to play hard on the field, giving 100 per cent effort for my club and teammates, but I also embrace the opportunity to engage with the fans whenever I can in helping them to feel a part of the team here at the Sharks.
After being known for my football, I’m probably recognized for my luscious long locks! It’s been a while since I’ve had a proper haircut, in fact - I haven’t cut my hair since I joined the Sharks almost four years ago - but what better time to do it than in support of the World’s Greatest Shave.
I am setting the following fundraising goals:
10k for the shaved head
15k for head and beard
20k for head, beard and eyebrows.
The Leukaemia Foundation do outstanding work, and if shaving my head and raising some funds helps them in some small way, then it will be more than worthwhile.
Blood cancer affects over 135,000 Australian families and it’s the most common cancer in children up to 14 years old.
I am lending my support to be a part of the solution to this terrible disease by raising money and awareness to help this very important cause.
The Leukaemia Foundation hopes to achieve zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035. Will you help too by sponsoring me?
Thank you
Toby
