My Message

A family friend passed away from Leukaemia when she was a young child and it is something that has always stuck with me. Since I have started this campaign I have had so many customers come up to me and inform me of their stories and it has cemented what I want to achieve.

$3000 is a great goal and shaving my head in support of those that don't have a choice to lose their hair while attending life saving treatments is such a small sacrifice.

Please help me raise funds to help people with blood cancer through the Leukaemia Foundation’s U.G.L.Y. Bartender fundraiser which stands for Understanding, Generous, Likeable You.

Every $80 I raise helps the Leukaemia Foundation provide one night's free accommodation for someone with blood cancer and their carer. This vital service provides a home-away-from-home for regional families who need to relocate to the city for treatment

Leukaemia is a terrible disease and when I was just a child my sisters best friend was diagnosed with this horrible disease. I asked my parents if I was able to be tested as a bone marrow donor at age 10 for her, unfortunately we were not allowed as I was not related. This has sat in the back of my mind for years, not being able to help Andrea. :( Both my sisters have shaved their heads to raise money to help and now it's my turn. Stay tuned for an event date and we'll see if I raise enough money I will shave my head!! Eeeekk!!
