I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I'm taking part in World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation! As many of you may know, my family has led a persistent fight against cancer, more so in the previous decade. Those of you that known me since high school would know the hardships my family has endured against this unrelenting fight. I'm on a mission to save the world from blood cancer or any kind of cancer.
My ponytail will be used to make wigs for cancer patients. While cutting my hair might be seen as trivial compared to the hardship of cancer patients, the money raised will contribute to research.
The hair that I’ve been growing for the last few years will be cut off and used by the victims of this relentless disease as a wig for those undergoing chemotherapy where the unfortunate side affects involve a mass reduction of hair loss due to the side affects of the chemicals involved.
