I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Most of you will know that I have recently been diagnosed with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia, a very rare form of blood cancer.
Some of you may also remember my support for Jack Dhanda, a wonderful young lad who fought leukaemia 3 times. And won.
Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, and 16 will lose their life. I’ve seen first hand the devastating damage it can do to families. It’s absolutely insidious and heartbreaking.
In support of those affected families who are much less fortunate than mine, I've decided to take part in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave. I will be shaving my head on my next birthday, 17 March.
Will you please show your support for the cause by sponsoring me?
