Kokoda Challenge 2019 - The Plodders
On February 21, 2019 Michael was diagnoised with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) and the support from the Leukaemia foundation as well as the doctors and nurses at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital helped him process and treat this type of cancer. But not everyone is as fortunate as Michael so in November, Michael, Heath, Dave and Joe aka 'The Plodders', will be participating in the 2019 Kokoda Challenge (96kms) to help rasie awareness and funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
This trek will be as much physical as a mental challenge for them all. In the lead up to the trek, please feel free to help them prepare for an adventure of a lifetime (messages of support, sharing the page, or even dontating are greatly appreciated).
Many thanks,
Michael, Heath, Dave and Joe.
