Roslyn and Monica Beinke lost their Dad to Leukaemia in June of 2017 after only being diagnosed 6 months prior. This came 2 years after losing thier Mum to Urothelial Cancer in 2015.

Monica had experienced cancer first hand in 2011, being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer at the age of 21 and following 6 months of chemotherapy, was then diagnosed with primary Pancreatic Cancer before the end of the year. 

Though none of this prepared the Beinke family in facing the loss of Abigail, Roslyn and Monica's niece, who tragically died in a car accident in July of 2018. This was only 5 weeks before her 2nd birthday.

The sisters are walking the Great Wall of China in memory of thier Dad, Mum, and sweet little Abi. They are walking the wall to heal.
