On Sunday 21 August 2016 we're walking 56km in memory of Glenn Robb, our friend and work mate we lost to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in September 2013 and raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The Leukaemia Foundation provided Glenn and his wife Nikki a free "home away from home" in Perth for many months while Glenn underwent treatment at Royal Perth Hospital. 

This week 25 West Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. That's another 25 reasons to support the Leukaemia Foundation's work – providing practical and emotional support to people facing the challenge of blood cancer, as well as investing in vital research to find better treatments and cures. 

For people like Glenn, living in regional West Australia, it means leaving work and all their support networks and relocating to Perth, adding to the shock and emotional turmoil.

The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding and provides free services to support people with blood cancer and their families, including: information, education, emotional care, transport to and from treatment and accommodation for regional West australians required to move to Perth for treatment. The Foundation also invests millions of dollars into blood cancer research each year.
