Light the Night for Lyndell
Amount Raised
Fundraising Goal $1,000.00

Our Message

On June 8th of this year we lost our beautiful Lyndell to a rare Lymphoma blood cancer. Wife, Mother and as of March 1st this year, Grandmother to Tilly Louise. Lyndell spent 8 months in a Brisbane Hospital away from her home, family and friends in Goondiwindi. Due to the continuous treatment required to fight this cancer, Lyndell was only able to return home for a few short visits to be with her 3 children and her first grandchild Tilly before her passing. Lyndell's treatment did not provide a cure for her to spend more precious moments with her family and granddaughter Tilly, but with your help we can raise vital funds for research to find a cure and help others who are battling blood cancer. On the evening of Saturday 10 October, Lyndell's family are taking part in Light the Night as blood cancer has impacted our lives. Funds raised through this special event provide families facing blood cancer with the care needed to make it through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis. Donations also transform fear into hope in miraculous, life-changing ways by furthering the work of brilliant research scientists. This research is saving lives right now as it continues to discover faster diagnostics and even better treatments for people with blood cancer. Please help us reach our goal and sponsor us to Light the Night.
