As the sun sets on Friday, 30 September, our family are taking part in Light the Night for our son who has been on his journey for the last 12 months. When blood cancer touches a life, it can feel like the beginning of a long, dark night. Treatment is often complex and urgent. Life-saving care can be far from home. Too many are left feeling overwhelmed and unsure – and isolated. Funds raised through this special event will ensure someone will be there for families through every scary, uncertain moment following a blood cancer diagnosis.
